Hooligan debut

   On October 13th a debut took place in the online broadcast on www.tourdom.ru website. The moderator decided to engage in a little hooliganism, abandoning serious discussion for a while. He arranged a series of practical jokes during live broadcast. The objects of jokes were several nominees of TBY. Travel Brands award: Ju. Brukhanova (DSBW), O. Lokteva (‘Lanta-tour Voyage’), and E. Komarova (‘IntAer’). They were all told that December award ceremony would take place... in a swimming pool. And there will be a swimming race entitled ‘Non-drowning brand’.
   The idea was so unexpected that all the ‘victims’ didn’t quite believe it from the start. But in the end Ms. Brukhanova agreed to take part in a butterfly stroke race (‘I became candidate master of sports at 12, so I’ll swim.’). Ms. Lokteva took interest in unavoidable unpleasantness (‘We’ll discuss that, of course, but… It smells of chlorine in the pool. Do you think it will agree with the award business? And there’ll be no stage, nothing like that?')/ Ms. Komarova carefully warned of the necessity to think it all through (‘The idea is great! But I doubt about TBY – not many people will come to the pool, some for reasons of health, others for… other reasons.’).
