The information was confirmed in the Office of Vietnam Airlines: ‘all the passengers were accommodated in hotels. Registration for a flight is planned for 10 p.m., April 27th’, commented Nikolay Toktaev, the Head of Sales Department of the Airline Company. The reasons for technical failure have not been unveiled yet, however the delay is explained by the necessity to deliver a spare part. According to Toktaev, the safety of flights is the basic principle of the Vietnam Airlines. However, realizing the responsibility, Vietnam Airlines will make corresponding changes to the tickets for the flight back and for in-country flights.
Meanwhile passengers are worrying about the situation. Thus, Nadejda Kotova, Manager of Asia Travel, said to a BANKO correspondent that three out of six tourists of Asia Travel booked a complicated tour Vietnam-Cambodia and at the moment their program is going to be changed.
