Old Sphere – New Position

   Sergey Shangin started his career in Intourist in 1990. Having worked in the company on different managing positions, last December he decided to leave the position of Corporate Service and Congress and Exhibition Tourism Director.
   In the interview to a BANKO correspondent Sergey Shangin said that at the moment he is working as Purchasing Director of Nicko Travel, which also deals with corporate programs.
   Shangin preferred to be brief regarding the reasons for changing the job, having pointed out that he is going to develop his career in the sphere of corporate tourism. However, experts analyzing the latest changes within Intourist believe that Shangin’s decision could have been affected by disagreements with top management of the company and lack of succession system in the company’s development strategy.
