A BANKO correspondent contacted Moscow airports to find out about their plans for the summer season when the passenger flow traditionally increases.
Thus, Representative of the Sheremetevo Press-Service said that due to the airport modernization it will not work with charter companies in summer 2006. According to Yury Timchenko, Operating Management Director of Sheremetevo, a decision regarding charter flights realized by regular Russian airlines will be made in every particular case considering the airport recourses.
Meanwhile, Domodedovo expect a massive tourist flow. Domodedovo plan to increase the registration zone at Paveletskyi Railway Station. Besides, registration will be more convenient now for children groups. At the moment a tour operator need to contact its partnering airline that will agree with the airport regarding additional registration desks for a group.
Furthermore, Vnukovo has the most ambitious plans for summer planning to double a passenger flow by increasing it at million passengers. Charter flights passengers will be accommodated in a new international terminal, equipped with a finder and six teleramps. On of the peculiarities of the international terminal is three-level system allowing dividing the location of airport services.
