‘…all 212 passengers (and two children) of the flight received meals and were accommodated in Simferopol Airport. Besides, hot meals were ordered to offer passengers during the rest of the flight. VIM-avia experts are trying to find out reasons for the technical fault'.
A BANKO correspondent found out that a reserved aircraft left Simferopol for Antalia at 6:04 p.m. Moscow time. A flight from Simferopol to Antalia takes 1,5 hours. As a result total flight time for the passengers was 10 hours instead of 3. ‘Before leaving Simferopol tourists were provided with meals one more time. Meals were also offered to those who waited for the flight in Antalia’, said the Head of Narketing and Advertising Department of VIM-avia. Olga Rossik to a BANKO correspondent.
At the moment it is difficult to say how much time it will take to repair the aircraft. If necessary it will be transported to Munich where the service center is located.
