What happened to ‘Lora-tour’?

   One more travel company has probably decided to draw away right before New Year. Quite well known company on the travel market ‘Lora tour’ located at the address: Furkasovskyi side street, bld. 3, is involved. ‘On December 23rd, Friday, we received the fax with the request to cancel all tours booked by ‘Lora-tour’. And along with this nobody took phone calls in their office. In the middle of December they booked from us the 4189 Euro tour to Goa with a flight on the 6th of January. We received only 949 Euro prepayment. As a result we can not cancel the tour because our partner in India has imposed a 100% fine. As the tourist can not afford to pay for the tour twice we had to put the tour on sale’, said one of the partners of ‘Lora-tour’. Having contacted the tourist who bought the tour to Goa from ‘Lora-tour’ a ‘BANKO’ correspondent knew that she is absolutely puzzled by the situation. ‘It is not the first time I book a tour from them but now I do not know if there is any reason to go to Moscow. I live in Surgut and a flight to Moscow will cost me 13 000 rubles more’, said the perplexed tourist.
   In order to clear up the situation the ‘BANKO’ correspondent went to the office of ‘Lora-tour’. In the big basement office close to Lubyanka there were only two people. On Tuesday all employees were informed about dismissal. Actually on Wednesday the company went out of business’, - said one of them having introduced himself as a manager of the company. The director of ‘Lora tour’, Aleksey Jigin, was not in the office and the correspondent could not contact him. We will watch the development of affairs and we would appreciate any information about the company and the way they plan to bear their obligations.
