Tourist Influx to Krasnaya Polyana Skiing Resort

   At the beginning of February Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana are again overwhelmed by snowfalls. As a result many roads are bloked with snow. Besides there are power cuts in several regions.
   Meanwhile travel companies that specialize in the destination do not think it will affect the travel industry considerably. According to experts, the highway between Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana in the place of recent avalancing is watched by road services. Snow drifts caused by avalancing have been eliminated. The snowfalls in the regin affected only the transfer duration from Adler Airport to Krasnaya Polyana askiing resort - now it takes a few hours instead of 35-45 minutes.
    Furthermore, travel market players point out many advantages of the snowy weather. 'Skiers like there is much snow - snow cover three metres deep. Therefore we have even more tourists at the moment', said Olga Pilyaeva, the Head of Ski Tours Department of Express Line.
    However, the influx of tourists may become a kind of test for ski lifts: even now skiers have to queue to get to the mountain.
