   On May 18th Russian Airline Company VIM-avia and Super Nova Travel Company took a decision to provide meals for passengers on Moscow-Larnaka flights. We remind you that before it was the imitative of Super Nova to operate flights to Larnaka without meals on board in order to optimize tariffs. However, the decision was followed by complains of passengers who did not want to keep on a diet during a four-hour flight. Therefore, Super Nova found a compromise and passengers on Moscow – Larnaka flights by VIM-avia will be served light meals and soft drinks.
    Meanwhile, Biblio-Globus, a consolidator of the second VIM-avia charter program, also decided to provide meals on board, although the Travel Company did not have complains from tourists. Thus, Alexander Tugolukov, General Director of Biblio-Globus, said, ‘Initially, we planned to operate flights to Larnaka without meals on board in order to minimize tour operators expenses in the low season. At the moment the tourist flow to Cyprus is increasing and the destination will be in demand in the Russian market until November’.
    A propos, at the beginning of May VIM-avia delayed several flights to Larnaka owing the shortage of aircraft that provoked rumors that the Airline will not operate morning flights to Cyprus as it was planned but will fly at less convenient time. However, Mikhail Gribkov said that the Airline guarantee the consolidators morning flights to Larnaka.
