[IMG=20803-6577]The Ministry of Foreign affairs of Great Britain appealed to its citisens who plan to travel to Russia. The Ministry focused its attention on the increased terrorism threat and recommended British people to withhold travelling to such Russian regions as Chechnya, Ingushetia, Stavropolsky Krai, Severnaya Osetia, Karachaevo-Cherkesia and Kabardino-Balkaria. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain believes that 'the risk of terrorist acts in Russia might increase in response to any violence in Chechnya'. Meanwhile, Mikhail Romanov, Director of Orpheus Travel Company, said: 'such measures have a political character. Great Britain ıs as unsafe as Russia - just remember explosions in London metro'. Tourist flow from England to Russia is not high, therefore, recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain will hardly affect it considerably, Romanov sad. Furthermore, Tatiana Khoreshok, the Head of Visit Britain in Moscow, agreed: 'it wll not affect the tourist flow to Russia. British people will not stop travelling to Russia after such recommendations. They will be probably more careful in crowded places'. Moreover, Khoreshok does not worry about the image of Russia in Britain. According to her, 215 000 British tourists visit Russia annualy and they already have a certain opinion about our country.
