The Consulate of Greece in Moscow plan to adopt new rules for visa applications for juveniles traveling to the country either with one parent or on their own. According to web portal Greek.ru starting from April 10th an apostilled copy of birth certificate must be presented to the Consulate. The cost of the service is 1, 000 – 1, 300 rubles ($ 35 – 45$). A BANKO correspondent contacted tour operators, which specialize in the Greek market. They had not received any information about an apostilled copy of a birth certificate. According to UTE Megapolus group, there is another rule for visa applications for parents traveling with children.
Natalia Gavrilyachenko, visa expert of Bureau South Cross, believes that the Greek initiative will not be problematic. Besides, Greek Consulate is known for frequent changes and their cancellation.
