Nevertheless, Sinitsin believes that attention to the tourism sector from the authorities will stimulate the development of the Russian travel industry. ‘The agreement will encourage partnership relationships between Russian tour operating companies and Spain. Moreover, it will stimulate the popularity of Russian travel product in the Spanish market’, commented the expert.
Furthermore, Andrey Vlasov, Tourism Vice President of Intourist, confirmed that the agreement will stimulate the inbound tourism in our country: ‘Discussion of this program at the summit level will form an attitude to Russia as to a safe and interesting from the point of view of tourism country’. Moreover, intergovernmental agreement might be profitable for tour operators sending tourists to Spain. ‘Only the fact of agreement will be a promotion for the destination. As soon as the agreement is signed Spanish companies will promote themselves in the Russian travel market more actively’, said Andrey Shmelkov, Development Director of VKO Travel.
