   On the 21st of November 23, 2005 BANKO received a report on the demand of the Muscovites which was carried out by ‘Tri Plan’ company to find out the most recognizable brands out of these taking part in ‘TBG. Travel brands’. The committee does not yet reveal the results of the voting, referring to the fact that they will be announced during the award ceremony on the 6th of December and then published in mass media. Alexander Ivanov, a chairman of the committee commenting on results of the survey noted: ‘As expected, in order to enter the range of the most popular brands among Muscovites, a tour operator had to carry out an active campaign aimed at customers. The newer the company, the better it is. However nothing goes along unnoticed – brands that were popular in previous years, is not disappearing from people’s minds. It is confirmed by the carried out survey. What is more, judging from the results one of the ways of getting into most popular brands is having a similar sounding to advertised brands in other industries’. Studying the data of the voting of Muscovites and specialists of Moscow travel firms, the committee of the nomination find a lot of differences – companies who were chosen by customers as leaders are often far from being at the top list of managers of Moscow travel firms.
   To complete the research of achievements of tourist brands, only the data from the expert committee of branding is missing. The committee evaluates the creative decisions of the TBG nominees as well as persuasive effects of promotion in mass media in B2B format. This data will be received by the committee by the end of the next week.
