New Rules For Visa Applications Adopted by the German Embassy

   The German Embassy in Russia adopted new rules for visa applications for tourists who go to the Football World Cup. ‘Russian people who go to the Football World Cup can apply for visa without previous appointment and interview in the Embassy if they use services of accredited travel agencies’, explained Boris Blinov, General Director of Altus Travel Company.
    ‘The German Embassy in Ukraine was the first to adopt changes for football fans – a special section in the German Consulate in Kiev was opened in March’, commented Svetlana Stroganova, General Director of Eurotravel.
    Meanwhile, most probably the World Cup in Germany will not welcome a considerable number of Russian fans owing the prices for football matches, which exceed the initial cost by 1,500 – 2,000 %. ‘There are no quotas for Russian fans. Therefore, we buy tickets from dealers, but have the minimum commission. The demand stimulates very high prices. Thus, a ticket for Brazil – Croatia match costs 36Euro, while people are ready to buy it for 650 Euro’, said Maxim Pristavko, Commercial Director of Jet Travel.
