Besides, it terminated contracts concluded before May 31st, 2005, if agencies did not make any bookings with Natalie Tours from April 1st to May 31st, 2006. Meanwhile,Vladimir Vorobiev, the Head of Natalie Tours, said in the interview to a BANKO correspondent, that as a result of reorganization a number of agents working with Natalie tours has reduced from 7, 000 to 2, 000. ‘The target of the new system is to create more comfortable conditions for our partners’, said Vorobiev. Russian tour operators believe, that every large company needs to optimize its inner channels and processes. Thus, Alexander Sinigibsky, General Representative of TEZ TOUR in Russia, emphasized: ‘there is an old saying: 20% of customers drink 80% of beer. This means that theoretically a company can reduce a number of clients by 80% without considerable damage to its business. It is obvious that every tour operator prefer not to waste time on non-profitable agencies’.
