According to travel market experts interviewed by a BANKO correspondent the beginning of May in Omsk was marked with the increase of demand for tour abroad. However, they point out that travel agencies have practically reached the ‘ceiling’ having ‘selected’ all potential clients. Larisa Kornilovich, Director of STA-Novosibirsk, commented on the situation as follows: ‘at the moment the supply is higher than the demand. At the same time a number of tourist traveling to China is increasing. Business tours are in the highest demand – businessmen are becoming more and more interested in Chinese exhibitions preferring them to European ones. For example, the most popular exhibition among Russian tourists is the Cantonese Exhibition - Chinese Export Commodities Fair – held twice a year in Guangzhou’.
