[IMG=21474-7300] On November 10th unfavorable weather conditions affected the work of the Moscow airports. According to Press Service representatives of Sheremetievo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo the snow fall did not provoke poor visibility conditions but blocked the runways. ‘In the morning we worked in a normal regime but starting from 10.30 a.m. eight flights landed in other airports – Vnukovo and Pulkovo, while we were shoveled the snow from runways’, commented Irina Kolesnikova from the Sheremetevo Press Service. However, none of the flights were delayed. Meanwhile, at Domodedovo Airport problems while landing occurred even on November 9th when the snowstorm started. ‘We had to shovel snow from runways, therefore some flights landed in other Moscow airports’, a representative of the Domodedovo Press Service said. Furthermore, all Moscow airports pointed out that they are ‘technically ready for the coming winter’.
